The exhibition focuses on everyday life Mevaniola, an ancient Roman town in the Apennines of Romagna, whose ruins can be visited near the Mambrini Museum.
Visitors to the hall dedicated to Mevaniola, visitors are encourage to explore objects and artefacts related to the raising of livestock and the transport, preservation, and preparation of food.
It is an excellence chance to discover the flavours, recipes, delicacies, and quirks of a cuisine so far removed from ours. The exhibition features several unique items, such as a fragment from a glirarium pot and a drinking fountain for pigeons.
