After the spring field trip, local expert Edgardo Ramberti once again leads us on an outing to discover typical late-summer plants and herbs, explaining their characteristics and sharing tricks on how to best use them in the kitchen.

The event continues with Alessandra Peroni’s conference on “Plants for eating and plants for healing. Tacuina sanitatis, herbaria, recipes, and magic”.

The day ends with dinner at the “Osteria di San Giovanni” in San Giovanni in Galilea, with a menu based on the herbs gathered that afternoon.

Children will enjoy the “Food in Medieval art” workshop, inspired by Medieval illuminated manuscripts.
