On Friday, May 1, the Guatelli Museum hosts The world’s table, an event entirely dedicated to favourite recipes as a way to see food through fresh eyes.
The event begins with the inauguration of the photographic exhibition “The Apennine’s rezdore” by the two young Parma-based photographers Misha Cattabiani and Erik Concari.
At 12:30 the Museum will host a luncheon titled “Thinking about Expo” put together by Ozzano Taro’s Circolo Rondine (by reservation only).
Starting at 14.00, Ettore Guatelli’s kitchen hosts “Recipe books dear to our hearts”, a small exhibition held in its natural kitchen setting, which showcases homemade recipe ‘books’: loose handwritten sheets, notebooks, envelopes, clippings, etc …
The afternoon will feature illustrated lectures, guided visits, jazz concerts, children’s workshops, and special features on culinary traditions in the Parma region. Finally, a tasting will be offered of the favourite recipes at the heart of the Il Ricettacolo project.
