Casa Museo Luciano Pavarotti

The country-house is situated in the outskirts of Modena and was finished in 2005; the tenor Luciano Pavarotti ( Modena 1935-2017) lived here together with his family the last years of his life. Here Pavarotti could cultivate his great passion for horses, built his stables and opened a horse-riding school. The villa was designed according to the Maestro’s own indications, with a number of details being created by craftsmen who followed the tenor’s drawings.

The tour takes visitors through Pavarotti’s career and reveals his private and family dimension. Inside the country-house, one can see personal belongings such as his shirts, his handkerchief, his drawings and copybooks, along with the mementoes of a career that saw Luciano Pavarotti as a protagonist for more than 40 years in opera houses around the world: the most famous costumes, photos and videos that illustrate his artistic itinerary, his uncountable prizes and awards.
